Your bank is legally bound to give them the information and are not permitted to charge more than £10 for issuing it. The Company usually pays this for you and reclaim it from the proceeds of the refund. However, the Act only covers charges not your statements. If you want to make a reclaim for bank interest charges you will need to find or get copies of your bank statements. Unfortunately most UK banks charge a lot for these. But it's usually worth it as they can calculate the interest charges in reference to the dates you were overdrawn and the rates the banks were charging at that particular time.
